My name is Kyle Merriman and I’m a Canadian photographer based out of Taiwan.  It has been my home for over 7 years now and has been a great place for inspiration and motivation.
My initial interest in photography started out as a project to keep family and friends in touch with my life half way around the world.

My first site started out as a platform for blogs, photos, and the odd video here and there to show family and friends what it’s like living in this alien land of Taiwan. Twelve hour time differences don’t make for easy communication so this allowed those back home to experience it as best they could.
Photography content came to the fore on the site so I felt something more akin to a portfolio rather than a standard blog of random thoughts would work best.
